Does anyone know which is the proper way to wear a bow tie and wing-collar shirt? Should the bow tie go under or over the wings? Any suggestions gratefully received!

Not sure about under or over the collar on a wing-collared shirt, but whatever way it goes, a bow tie MUST be a proper, hand-tied one, not a ready made clip-on job.

The bow should be under the wings and on top of the collar.
