Pre Delivery Inspection

I am waiting for an Acer Laptop to be delivered today from Laptops Direct - however am concerned about something on their website - they charge nearly �40 for a "pre delivery inspection" of their goods - why ?
Sorry, but if I am not happy with what they send me - it's going straight back to them ....
The cheek of some companies nowadays - trying to charge customers for checking that something ordered is working OK
You may have guessed that I am cheesed off

No need to worry
The laptop arrived yesterday and it is excellent in every respect - no dead pixels or anything else
I can strongly recommend them

But did they charge you the �40 ?

No - they charged me �399.95 for the laptop and �14.95 delivery and I am happy.....`
