Sorry can't comment o the Hinari Genie but I did have a Magic Bullet after seeing it on the TV adverts and then they had it on QVC.

Unfortunately, I sent it back as I didn't find it as good as they said on TV. Its advantage is that it comes with lots of containers and you can put things into the microwave. It made great drinks with crushed ice but I found when I tried to put anything in like onion (not in the drinks!) even when I chopped them up quite small the blade keeps missing bits and you end up with a lot of smush and then lumps of onion. I did try lots of other things in it and it seemed to do the same with everything. Great if you want everything pulped up but not for chopping.

I was really disappointed as looked forward to it arriving and using it. I bought a mini Cuisinart which is good but I wish I had bought a bigger one and probably will in the New Year sales or something.
Hope someone can advise you on the other one. :-)
ive got the magic bullet as well and similar to the other post im disappointed - the only good thing is that i bought it to blend soup and it does that perfectly, but to whip cream its useless as the cream around the blades gets so thick the rest of the cream never gets to the blades and as for the juicer part - most of the pulp ended up in the juice - if i didnt love soup so much i'd get rid of it! the unit itself doesnt take much space but all the containers it comes with does!
ive just seen the hinari genie and it looks identical to the bullet so i'd imagine all the negatives i have with the bullet would apply to the genie as well - i did see it on a website for 24.99 so its not that badly priced for what it is.
I too fell for the hype of the Magic Bullet, I thought that as it was small I could get rid of the big food mixer and blender off the worktops (how wrong could I be?) Firstly it comes with loads of attachments which would need a place to be stored and secondly and most importantly I was very disappointed with it, it can't grate cheese and doesn't chop very well as has already been said, although it made nice smoothies, my blender does that just as well. I'm afraid it went back to QVC
