I'm probably being a really dumb biddy but I don't do much on-line shopping!
Next are offering free delivery but where do you put the code? As you 'add to bag' it makes out your order but I don't see a space for special codes and the total adds on the delivery charge.
Hope this makes sense, I'm losing the plot today. Thanks.

(cont.) And a pain in the proverbial for you but in the long run I do believe it will make it easier for him to keep his image of himself - cos any kind of control is better than no control - and that will serve your relationship. In the long run. (Am I making ANY sense? I'm not sure.) The short version is: Go get him with a sledgehammer, it will do you both good:)

I think a good fight with snow shovels should clear the air, haha. I laughed at that Kit, don't know if I mentioned it at the time.

Yes I've got a lightweight ladder, I'll make it my resolution to use it.
Oh dear, don't do pets...don't do shopping...what do you like jno?
aha! http://img825.imagesh.../img825/3070/cco2.jpg
Well get out there & ask some questions please, buying cakes by the barrowload will suit me fine...by the way, lol @ Robini

That's a good handy size woofy, we need a bag bank where we can all put a couple in & borrow one when we want a change...I'll start us off :o)

loads of sense Kit and a timely message, i needed it too.
I've wapped Mr N with a chair a couple of times, but can't lift one high enough now! I always love him, but sometimes I don't like him!
* whopped* I think that should be!
You're welcome to it Woofy - DaSpinster is generously handing out marital advice tonight;-) And thanks for having us over at the other place - I don't want to post my thanks there cos it looks so nice with a One Thousand And One thread. That's what Arabian Nights is called here: One Thousand And One Nights.

lol at jno shopping, Robi, and at your neighbour. I thought you were going to say she was poking her nose into your kitchen window or something (when in fact the sentence ended with her poking her nose into somebody else's medication). I had already constructed the mental image of the two of you staring at each other through the window glass, ha ha.

Looking forward to seeing your photos jno. Did you know there will be a new camera released in Japan this January that is also a mobi, instead of the other way around. Forgot what make it is, do you know?
they are all lovely but that boy and the mule is stellar
journalist, photographer, reporter - BBC. I may be wrong! ;o)

But you have to keep the secret and I enjoy guessing.

The photos are amazing, and I agree with Woofs about the boy and the mule - Stunnng.
sat in bed surfing and listening to the wind howl. I think the last hot flush of the day has subsided so its time for sleep. I had a jacket baked sweet potato with prawns on for tea, it was delicious. have eaten sweet potatoes before but never for some reason baked in its jacket. It was lovely, a bit caramelised and soft with crispy skin.
Night all.sweet dreams
strictly amateur photography, Lottie... though actually I did have a huge photo in the Guardian once, across two (tabloid-size) pages. I was in the Caribbean somewhere and met a woman from the paper who was staying at the same hotel, so I took a photo of her on the beach outside (I can't remember if it was my idea or hers); I emailed her a copy when I got home. Next thing I know it's in the paper with a travel article she's written. Did I receive a penny for it? I did not. And my name wasn't mentioned with it either. Cheek! But I was secretly pleased.
Nite Woofs. Will have to try a baked sweet potato!! ym
hey, thinking of that - I've just found it!

So it's online for ever? Maybe I should send them a bill, cheeky blighters.
jno, surely you know that everything and photo we put on here is on the web forever!!

nite, nite x
I'm not sure the Guardian even had a website in those days, neti - or if it did I didn't know about it. I thought the photo was just in the paper. Grrr.

Things you put on tinypic don't stay there forever; they get removed after months or years, or the URLs get assigned to other photos.

pah! jno I'll write to Ms B and tell her those pants are naff...and her bum looks saggy...that shouldget the pic removed. Your photos are stunning, the first is my favourite & I'll have it for my desktop if it's going free :o)

No Kit, that I needn't worry about, when she's not in hospital she stays put at home...she didn't come & peer through the window even when she could. Why would you when you can summon the world to come to your door?

Do you think someone will be reading these ramblings in 50years? :o/
*gasp* those photos are absolutely amazing jno - yes I did literally gasp at the boy with the mule, and also the girl. Come on, will you tell us what camera you use?

I haven't slept yet, I bet I'm now only using 3% of my brain. Will somebody hit me over the head with an opossum.
Ms B has moved on to greater things

Kit, it's one of these:

long lens (not physically long but zooms in very close), but it's best in good light - digital cameras mostly struggle a bit with low light, or with too much contrasting light and shade. Still, makes for good biddy desktop photos. Robinia, I have to hope nobody's reading them right now, but maybe they'll still be coming here to look at your avatar in 2061.
morning all, I am feeling very virtuous. It was blowing a hooligan here this morning AND persisting down and I still got up and took the dogs out how good is that? have rewarded myself with two breakfast bars with my coffee, not that I ever get more than about one and a half with the soulful eyes staring at me.
anyway time for a kip now
Morning all.

Yes woofy you are very good to your dogs although I suppose you have to do it for them.

Jno really lovely piccies. Did you train as a photographer? My hija has a lumix but it is the small kind and the lens is stuck and won't come out, it's been like that for 2 years, will get it mended one day!

We have run out of furniture to burn so no more log fires for us, and the really damp and cold weather will be upon us soon.

Mr N has gone on a golfing day, so won't see him again til tonight!
