sound insulation

Recently I had new Double Glazing Units fitted along with new Plastic Cladding. On the exterior there were Boards(Roughly 8'x5') made from 1/4-1/2" compressed composite material which I now realise gave fairly good Sound Insulation . It was a mistake to replace them with Plastic Cladding but that's in the past and I now must move on. I am looking for a suitable material to fill a 75mm space which is between Exterior Plastic Cladding and Interior Plasterboard (which has a Tinfoil finish on the exterior).I need a product that will give good SOUND INSULATION. I have good access to the spaces as the Cladding can be removed for the task. Can you suggest a suitable product that can be used that would be suitable for this project and that will give good SOUND Insulation? I
