Valentines Gift for Lover!
21 Answers
I have been seeing a married man (I know it is wrong, I don't need a lecture) for a couple of months and don't know what to buy him as a valentines gift. Need something discreet. Any ideas!??

She always attaches a 'raffle ticket' to the gift, be it a decent bottle of port, or a picture etc., so he can pretend he won it.
The latest, which was his Christmas present (I thought this was very clever), she bought him Premium Bonds, registered at her own address! - just in case he wins something.
The only other option I can think of, is to buy yourself something.....like underwear or perfume and tell him they are for his benefit!
Or even go and buy some new pots and pans or crystal glasses (for yourself) and cook him a meal, tell him they are his gifts which you will only use for preparing food for him (married men love to think you are totally at their disposal).
Whatever you decide, don't waste money on him. He is not just married but also financially and legally attached to his wife, so I doubt you will get much from him. Joint Bank Account!!!

It is not imperative that you give him a gift. Men don't expect a Valentines gift necessarily. If you do feel the need then you will have to buy him something that he is likely to buy himself so that he isn't subjected to lots of awkward questions. Therefore, nothing romantic (including aftershave). Wallets are out! A CD is a possibility.
wow, loukr - u really are messed up aren't you - but then again, I guess you never been in the position of loving someone you shouldn't. You can talk the talk but have never walked the walk so you should really butt out and mind your own business. Things aren't always as black and white as you imagine. This woman knows what she's doing and said she don't need a lecture so why you so opinionated that you have to keep bleating on pontificating between everyone's answers. Just take heart in the fact that you'll no doubt sit at the right hand of God in heaven and apparantly we'll all go to hell !
Dollie, who are you to tell me to 'butt out..?' this is a forum for 'group discussion..'.
Not that it's any of your business, but my dad left when I was 6 because he had an affair, that was the end of my childhood. So yes, I guess you could say I'm messed up.... I have a little sister who's nearly 6 and I can't even imagine her being without her dad, think about that. And no, I've never 'walked the walk', and to be quite honest, I never will.

loukr this is not a forum for group discussion or personality assasination - Kland asked a simple question - the idea being that people would give her answers to her question. This site is about that, not opening yourself up for criticism cos you dare to ask a question. You have to ask yourself why you choose to call this a group discussion, taking one person's request to another level. Lets face it - the terminology that you used above about Kland and has since been removed by AB was disgraceful - shame on you. And as for you past - get over it and live your life - people like you are the kind of folk who blame everyone else for their shortcomings - oh he beat up a grannie cos his mum wouldn't buy him an action man when he was 11 - Time for you to get real. You don't live this person's life so you have no comprehension of the facts. Just because it was a bad event for you doesn't mean you have any rights to insult others. And as for you saying you'll never 'walk the walk' you must be pretty sure that you'll always walk the correct pathway in life so that you don't suffer some dreadful fate because as you ask above -don't you know what happens to people who sin. Well no - what does happen then ? do you have all the answers - I think not. And whilst your preaching self-righteousness, you aught to think carefully about the abuse that so easily spills out of your vile little mouth - good job for you that AB have removed it so others cannot see that you don't practice what you preach.
So who are you to tell me how to live my life?? And if I'm not allowed to give my opinion, then who gave you permission? I used that phrase for a reason, by the sound of it, I guess you wouldn't understand.
And what's with the 'he beat up granny' story..? I haven't blamed anyone for anything so don't go using some rubbish story to try to make me feel bad, because it doesn't.
To be honest, I think the way you're treating me is far worse than the two words I used previously.
Yes I'm over it, but that doesn't mean I think this sort of thing is right.. which sounds like what you're trying to say.
And incase you didn't notice, I'm not the only person on this thread who is against adultery, yes okay, so I was rude and offensive, but to be quite honest, any woman or man who commits it deserves everything they get. As disgraceful as my terminology was, it's the truth.
