If you want to watch your video sequences on a DVD player the video must be in video cd format(vcd) or super video cd format(svcd). You'll need to convert to these standards before you can burn to a cd. I use TMPGEnc to do this as it has a friendly interface and has a step by step wizard. Another benefit of this programme is it can handle many different types of inputted media - .avi .mpg etc. Once the video is converted you'll need to burn it to a cd using burning software that will burn to the vcd format. Nero is a good programme for this. You can fit 80 minutes of video onto an 80 minute cd at vcd quality(around vhs quality) and 35 mins at svcd quality. Hope this helps.
