insurance for business use

i helped my friend's take away to do the delivery last night, caught by police, and they will charge me for no insurance, but actually, i insured for domestic and pleasure use. i just passe my DL, but had 3 points already, what;s judgement the court will give to me, revoke my DL? if i will be revoked my license, how long i have to wait to attend retest. thanks for helping.

for some reason,delivering pizzas and food you need special insurance ,as a courier would.if the police do charge you with not having the right insurance you could well end up with another 6 pts,which will mean your driving licence will be revoked,as its in the 2 yr period,and that means you will have to go through all the theory and practical tests again. you really were a bit silly werent you.

a neighbour of mine was stopped by police without insurance and he got a 12 month ban from driving when it went to court and he had no points before he got banned.
