I recently moved the larder fridge from the garage into the kitchen and now it wont work, although the light comes on so i know it isnt the power. I cant find the manual and wondered if anyone knew how to re-set it. Hope it isnt the motor cos i dont need any more expense.!!!

All fridges must remain upright during moving or you get liquid gas going where it isn't supposed to .Leawve it for a day and try again.

Or keeping it in garage may have damaged it. Certainly it will have invalidated guarantee and freezer-contents insurance; both usually demand that freezer be kept in rooms at normal domestic temperature (not in cold garage).

Thank you very much for your reply's. I left the fridge a full 24 hours before I switched it back on and it has been on now for a few days. Also the garage where it was kept is integral to the house so has roughly the same temperature.
I did tilt it slightly to get up two steps and wonder if this would have caused a problem.

We have a similar problem with a drinks fridge. Basically if it is too cold in the garage, it overrides the theromstat and stops working, You will find as it gets warmer, (test it with a heater in the garage) your fridge will start working again.
