Pricebusters shopping channel

I have been waiting for an order from Pricebusters the shopping channel for about 4 weeks.
Last week when I phoned them I was told that they had problems with their couriers and that I could expect delivery by 16th. No delivery by today so I tried to phone them but there is no answer on either their order line or customer service line.
Does anyone know what has happened to them. Have they folded? They are still broadcasting on Sky.

I also ordered something on the 16th Jan which I chased at the end of Jan to be told they had problems with their suppliers. By the 2nd week in Feb it still hadn't arrived so I rang to ask for a refund. This still hasn't gone back onto my debit card. The number which came through on my bank statement is 01159 273004 which just goes to a recorded message saying they cannot take the call and please to call back later- this message is also on all their other numbers. I suspect we can wave goodbye to our money/products.

I am just glad that I only ordered pillows at �30. I feel sorry for people who have probably lost more. The TV station is no longer broadcasting on Sky.

Ruthiebabie - I have written to Pricebusters recorded delivery and given them 7 days to come up with the goods
or my money (�27.99) back. Got this advice from Consumer Direct 08454 040506.

Looks like I am one of many! I have e-mailed on numerous ocassions - never acknowledged! Phoned 3 times for my goods - each time told they are about to be despatched! Guess it was just lies all the way! Surely we should be able to do something about this deceitful way of getting money from us.
As far as I am aware they are not now broadcasting on Sky

Me too, I ordered some things for my daughters birthday for �88 and I'm fuming. The trouble is, you waste more time and money sending recorded threats,but you never get your money back. I think the tv channels should be liable , as they introduced us to them. What do you think?

I tried phoning Sky to complain about Pricebustere but was told that as long as Pricebusters had a licence to broadcast there was nothing that Sky could do.
I have no idea which Government Dept sells these licences but I guess that contacting them would be a waste of time. So - yes I think that Sky should be liable they are,after all, the ones that take our money to watch these channels.
