Ideas for a fantastic wedding second time around???
My partner and I are wanting to start planning our wedding. This is my second wedding but my boyfriends first and I am really wanting it to be special. first time round I had the 'big white wedding' and I want this one to be every bit as wonderful but different. I am thinking about marrying abroad but have two children (age 6 and 2) and am not sure how this will be for them?? I would also take our parents. Does anyone have any ideas?? Also, how much on average does getting married abroad cost and how straightforward is the whole thing to arrange etc? Any ideas would be hugely welcomed!!!

She had a Burgundy Red Dress and the photos had mountains and snow in them. It was beautiful and very different from a beach wedding. Not sure about pricing of the wedding - not cheap I would imagine. But if you want somethin different it is worth looking at.

Thanks Jimjools, the hotel looks fabulous but probably a little pricey for us! My dad paid for me the first time - no expense spared - and this time its down to us to fund it so we're looking for something a little less pricey! I was hoping a wedding abroad would save a bit of money but its probably not going to work out like that! thanks though!
I saw fantastic pictures of a friend of a friends wedding in lake bled, slovenia. Can give too much info but if you google lake bled you will find it. It was just her, husband and parents. they got married in a registry office and then taken round the town in a little horse and cart and on a boat to a beautiful church. I think that was how it all worked out but you will find info/pictures I am sure. Was lovely and seemed a novel idea. Sure there are many people who do it just not anyone else I had known of. My hairdresser got married in Cyprus. Kept saying 'not doing it to save money' so think is still expensive. They had a wedding planner.
