Many questions
1 Answers
I have recently moved into a new flat (rented) and I have a few questions (I'm not very handy Andy).
The whole of the flat has laminate flooring or a cheap parquet (We are not sure), but in one room, there is only half of it, the other half shows the original red floor tiles. A few flooring companies have been round, but their quotes are astronomical - we only need maybe 3 metres but they quoted 500 euros. Is this normal (I live in Spain). The thickness of the floor is about 1cm. Is it poss for us to do it ourselves? Help
The other question is net curtains. Are they easy to put up? I haven't had them before but the flats opposite are quite close. I have never used a drill, in fact I don't even own one. Sorry for the basic questions but I really am a novice at this. Thanks in advance

You don't need to drill! Depending on what type of window frames you have you can get different fixings. You can get tension rods which are spring loaded.
You can also get ones that attach by means of pads that are self adhesive and you stick these to your window frame. They a hook or similar on them onto which you attach your tension rod. Tip: don't rely on the stickness of the pad, they will fall down! USe some ectra superglue or something.
