Golden Wedding and Wedding Present ideas needed!!

Help!!

My parents are celebrating their Golden Wedding anniversary this year, and I'd like to give them something different, to mark the occassion. They are pensioners and are not in the best of health.

My next sister has decided to tie the knot with her long term partner, and like my parents have an established home etc.

I really want ideas for something different for them both.

All ideas are very welcome!!

My parents had their Ruby Anniversary last year, and myself and sisters organised a surprise party - we spent time tracking down and inviting people they hadn't seen for a long time, we also made several large posters of their lives - we "burgled" their old slides and photos - made copies and had different times in their lives grouped together - their wedding, our early years in different places, our weddings and kids.
Many of the guests were in the old photos and enjoyed some time going round the posters an seeing a storyboard of a family's life.
We made the invitations, and used one of their wedding photos on that. All in all it was an enjoyable evening , made so much better that it was a surprise.

have you seen the digital photo frames? it would be nice if you could gather old pictures when they met and during there wonderfull marriage and place them in the picture frame.its all digital so appears like a slide show.... trip down memory lane always brings back tears for the oldies

mabye you should make a cd of all the music that meant something to the, - the song they first danced to at their wedding , their song etc and mabye do a nice collage of all their times together , are they able to go away for a weekend ? due to health reasons if they are it mite be nice to send them somewhere speacial x
