I'm considering having laser treatment on my eyes and am not sure who to go with. A friend had his done at a Harley Street specialist but the price is well out of my range. The cheapest seem to be UltraLase and Optical Express but not sure if the 'budget' option is a good idea when your eyes are concerned. Anyone have a recommendation????

Hi, TingTong!

My boyfriend and his mum had their eyes done through Ultralase about six weeks ago now.

My boyfriend's eyesight wasn't seriously bad (he did have to wear glasses for driving, etc.), but his mum couldn't see a thing without hers and she'd worn glasses since she was a little girl. They both have 20/20 vision now, and did have from their check-ups the day after the procedures!

The after care at Ultralase is fantastic. I also answered on another post a little while ago. http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Body-and-Soul/Q uestion377677.html

Oh, and Ultralase are doing a 'Buy Now, Pay Later' type deal with interest free credit.

I hope this helps you. Godd luck. x
i know a couple of people that have used Optical Express and say it has made such a difference to their lives. My friend is also a nurse with them - of course this does not mean i should just recommend them but judging by how busy they are and the fact there is no bad press I feel they must be doing something correct.

Thankyou very much. Very helpful. Might go and see both and then choose. Ta.
I'm having my free consultation tomorrow at Optical Express as my friend from work went there and she said it was brilliant. Not sure if I can afford it yet, so just going to see if I can and if I'm eligible.
