Ann Summers age?

Does anyone know if you have to be a certain age to buy sex toys from ann summers?

I`m sure that you have to be over 18 to go into one section in the shop as this is where the" adult stuff" is.

I dont think so, I have never seen anyone being asked for proof of age and there are no signs saying you cannot enter the shop, or any sections of it.
Obviously some DVDs might be 18s and therefore you couldnt buy them. Try checking online or even better, ordering online!

I guess as long as you're over sixteen - you're old enough to be having sex, so I can't see them having any problems.

A few years ago I had a row with staff in an Ann Summers shop over this. My youngest child was 2 weeks old and in a sling across the front of my body. I went into Ann Summers to buy a birthday pressie for a friend and was not allowed in the adult section because I had a child under 18 with me. I assured the staff that my 2 week old baby would NOT be traumatised by seeing their products but they wouldn't let me in! I've voted with my feet and refused to darken their door ever since.

In some of the shops, under 18 are not allowed into the sex toys section. Others you are allowed.
Strange.
Well, if you try and buy one, you'll soon find out!

Why not buy online, i'm sure you'd just have to tick a 'i'm over 18' box.
