How many pairs of shoes do you own?

Just having a clearout and discovered I only have 8 pairs of shoes or related footwear.

1) Running trainers
2) Walking trainers
3) Walking boots
4) Garden Wellingtons
5) Smart shoes 1
6) Smart shoes 2
7) Smart shoes 3
8) Sunday best shoes

That's it. No slippers, no fashion brands, no nuffink.

How many pairs of shoes do you own? And why are women so obsessed with shoes??

(If you are reading this Dotty, can you express the number in words as I am slightly number dyslexic past the figure of 9999.)

well i don't wear blue, I have a gorgeous pair of Turquoise Kenneth Cole mules with deep blue crystals on them though, but they are more turquoise than blue cos they match the watch i bought to go with them, which has turquoise diamantes all over it, and it matches the bag too.
I have 5 pairs of yellow sandals, but 2 of them are wedges. i only have one pair of orange wedgesm with sequins on, they are very glirzy, i wear them on holiday.
I have two pairs of red striped pumps now, for some reason i had forgotten i had bouight the bertie ones and went and bought a second pair on tescos! They were a bargain though.
I have a pair of clear perspex italian mules, with a black patent bow on the front, the heel is like this futuristic moulded round see through shapew, very odd but they are so comfy and very practical to take n hols cos they go with so much.

actually i only have one pair of green shoes too, but the stones on them are a deep emerald green and they do look good with white linen trousers. I don;'t know how many pairs of black shoes i have, some are in the attic. I haven't bought any red dressy shoes for over a year, but I collect those.
You didn't mention boots wardy, so i won't include those.

well knickers are just amazing!! think they're the only womens clothes that regularly come in small medium or large, thus making them fit a lot easier than jeans which are often not even in english sizes!

About 90 pairs which includes just one pair of trainers as I am a girly girl and can't find a pair I like!
