Just wondering what the legality is of selling on concert tickets on Ebay? I am assuming that tickets marked 'non-transferable' etc. should not be put up for sale, but presumably all other tickets for events, purchased in advance, could legitimately be 'sold on' on the website without fear of infringing any laws? I ask only because a friend of mine has sold tickets on a couple of occasions, and sees no potential legal issue. Just wanted to check really. If there is no problem in doing this, presumably this would be the surest way to make a quick buck regularly?!
I believe, but you should be able to check with ebay's help section, that if you sell tickets, the Face value of the ticket needs to be clearly shown.
I sold some six nations tickets earlier this year (although the buyer didn't pay and the tickets were waisted), you just need to show the face value and bidders will make their own mind up on how much they want to pay.
