We bought one in Argos for under a fiver. It`s great. My hubby also has the same one in work & it`s lasting very well considering the use it gets. Our previous one cost us over 20 & it was crap.

Many thanks BJB. You don't happen to know the cat. number do you?
I bought ours very cheaply at Asda
If you have hard water don't buy one with a flat plate heating element, as the rattle and bang when scale buils up.

Make sure it has a twisty element.

In my mind a 20 kettle is an expensive one!
