I use the radio in the gym and find that, now the small 'netting' covers have come off, the earphones don't stay in my ears. Do you know of any earphones that will put up with the riggers of the gym, stay in better and also act as the aerial for the radio, as my current (supplied) ones do. Thanks.

new covers "buds" from maplin - 3 for 6

it depends on the shape of your ears ... if you have floppy taxi doors (like me) gaffer tape is the only thing that will keep mine in place ....
I generally use "propper" earphones with headband
(none of this round the back rubbish for me! - they slip down as well!!)
or alternatively a pair of sunglasses wedged over the tails that go over the ears works well (and looks cool! (?))

the noise reduction types come with a selection of silicone inserts - you can really jam them home !
- but they are costly ...
the in the ear ones that have silicone inserts are excellent i have ears that dont hold the normal type in ear phones
there is some by JVC about 14.99 in currys
and the sound is superb
Try 'Griffin Earthumps' in Google then choose a supplier/cheap price. They've come down in price since we bought some. Highly recommended - they fit in your ear.

Thanks Wide Boy, bought the Griffin ones for less than a tenner on amazon and they work a treat!
Glad to hear it Chrissy Boy - enjoy. Just about to recommend them to a friend - thanks for the Amazon link - I'd got them down to 13 and thought that was a good price. Going to look them up just now.
