Buying Clothes abroad, Getting through Customs
Hi,
I am currently on holiday and the shopping for clothes here is extremely cheap so I have treated myself to a few things, 3 jeans, 3 pairs of shoes, 2 new suits and a leather holdall. What happens when I return to England, do I need to declare anything to customs,or is that only cigerettes and alcohol? Any help would be appreicated.
Thank you.

If you're outside the EU, you can still enter via the green channel if your total purchases (other than tobacco & alcohol) don't exceed the local equivalent of 145:

U did not state which country. If it is USA I think u have a 250 limit before customs tax. Be careful of extra luggage weight too. I saw it on Airline where someone paid loads due to extra baggage. It does not look like you have bought too much.
I would say as well, take the labels off and make them look like worn items.
