Old Movie

Sometime in the early 90's my mother recorded a movie off of tv. I cannot remember the name and I would love to find it. The movie was based on two childre; a boy and his younger sister. It was set in the old west and they were apart of a wagon train. They were with their parents when their wagon camp site was attacked by indians. The indians killed everyone, including their parents, except these two children. They took their horse "red" and went on the move. They spent their time traveling, camping in caves, fishing in creeks, being attacked by a bear, and all this time they were being followed by an indian. The little girl carried a small rag doll. The boy found them bear skins for warmth in an abandoned log cabin. All this time their uncle was searching for them with a friend.

If you know anything about this movie please let me know. I am not sure but I think it was probably a tv movie.
