Does anyone remember Plasticraft?
It was liquid plastic complete with hardener and came with moulds and all sorts of other stuff and you could make keyrings etc with it. It was great. Does anyone know if you can still buy similar kits ?

I sure do remember it Jillius, who could forget that smell? I haven't seen anything similar on sale recently though.

Yes, the smell was great ! Years later I saw some glass being blown and that had a similar smell. I loved it. I think all my friends would have had home made keyrings for presents in those days !!
i used to have plasticraft when i was about 8,and decided as a suprise i would encase my brothers prize plastic soldier that he had spent days carefully painting in a wonderful plastic mould, unfortunately i put too much hardner in and the mixture got very warm and the soldier turned into a multicoloured blob encased in plastic instead lol, my brother is now 47 but still reminds me about the incident to this day lol
hi jillius, if it's the same thing i'm thinking of, i saw a few different kits of it in hobbycraft about a year ago - presumably they still sell it.

Thanks iheartruby ! I'll look into it and see if I can find some.
Sounds a bit like Fimo - its like plasticine but you cook it in the oven to harden it.

No leedsgurl. It was like clear liquid plastic that you poured into moulds and it set hard.
