Anyone out there got any idea where I can buy my beautiful daughter a posh frock for her Christmas 'Do' she is 23. None of the usual places please - something a little different but modern. Thanks in advance.

TKMAXX is always a good place to get posh frocks. I have bought quite a few there as they are good value,that sort of dress doesn't get worn very many times so there is no point spending too much on one.

some of the Ebay shops sell unusual stuff, new clothing thats just a wee bit different sometimes, they have all sorts really

Thank you - have looked on ASOS and found one that might fill the bill - but will go to local TKMAX (even though sorry to say I walked in before, saw before me what looked like a jumble sale, and walked out again) - fingers crossed

I agree with the TKMAXX thing - it does usually look like a jumble sale but if you can spare a few minutes to actually look through the racks, you can usually pick up some right bargains that no-one else has!

Monsoon would be my first choice as they are trendy but their clothes always have a certain quirkiness about them which makes them slightly different.

To all that have helped me - thank you. I tried TKMAX but nothing there really took my fancy, unfortunately. (Still think its like a jumble sale though)

In the end I got one from ASOS - perfect ! well I think so, hope my daughter does too.
