Christmas wrapping?

I am sitting with a mountain of gifts, and a variety of paper and bags - all colour co-ordinated of course! It seems that we spend a fortune on wrapping paper and trimmings and for what? It goes in the bin! How do you do yours? Nice paper, ribbon and bows? Nice tissue paper bag? Boxed? Hxx

aww you can wrap my scraf in newspaper haysi I dont mind, Im only going to bin it anyway (the paper that is! lol)

I buy a lot of bottle bags, as it is harder to wrap bottles.
I use mostly paper. I cannot do ribbons and the bows keep falling off.
I like hand made bows and ribbons to match though.
Some people can do ribbons with the scissors!

I cant buy anybody any christmas prezzies as I have no family and no friends all I have is my computer and that is my bestest friend.
Can you buy me a prezzie hays.

A nice red ferrari or a bently turbo will do nicely.

I buy the cheap wrapping paper, its xmassy but I dont go for all the ribbons and stuff, its just a waste of money

gift bags!

Went to my local pound shop (tight i know) and bought loads of different sized bags. ie 2 for �1 on bags with tags abotu 20cms x 40 cms

So much easier when pressies are awful shapes, and they are easier to carry in bulk instead of using carrier bags or risking putting your fingers through the paper

haysi u still knitting the scarfs put mine in one of those pretty little bags with a bit of tissue on the top and a bow at the side unlike lou 26 i will not throw the packaging away i recycle it for next years presents

The whole kaboozle I'm afraid! I love making presents look great. The good thing about this, is that some of my friends save the wrapping i use to use on next year's gifts for someone else.

im a bit hap hazzard with my wrapping! I enjoy it once i start, quite good fun but no way am i good at it ! I have to do it all in one go though!

I like to put bows on and i do like em to match the colour of the paper! Thats it though! Some people make their pressies look so good dont they!

Normally I make an effort with the wrapping....... paper, tags and ribbon all matching. This year though its paper and tags, tough if they dont match perfectly and its tough if they dont like it lol

I wonder if the people I give pressies to actually worry about how the wrapping looks anyway?

Ice.Maiden, I too like making the pressies look nice. I dont write on gift cards anymore when giving someone a present personally as it means that they can reuse it. I also like to reuse nice bags when I get gifts.

UnrulyJulie, I get very bored very quickly LOL and so try and get it all done at once!

I buy the same wrapping paper for everyone but make curly tape thingys in different colours and I like the gift tag to be colour co ordinated to match the ribbon. ......I must get out more :-)
