JNO - Yes, I'm not far from Greymouth & Arthur's Pass. I
live in some of the best scenery in the world.
BAZILE - The weather is terrific - sorry.
WEEAL - Napier is lovely, the whole Hawkes Bay area is.
On your next trip you must come to the South
Island.
Well, I must go out into the balmy sunshine in my shorts & t-shirt, drink a tall glass of juice & listen to the summer sounds. Aahhhh!

lucky you to have sunshine.... the wettest part of the country, isn't it? All that rain from across the Tasman falling on the western slopes of the mountains.
On a cliff face up in Arthur's Pass we were shown a dark line in the strata, which apparently was where the Australian and Pacific tectonic plates meet. There was a pool of warm water nearby, heated by the plates rubbing together. Fascinating place all round.
