Facial Hair.....HELP!
11 Answers
im a 21 yr old female and i suffer badly with facial hair. i have had it for about 3 yrs and its really getting me down. i have it on and under my chin and on my top lip. i use immac cream for facial hair but about a week after using it i get angry looking spots which are really unsightly. i went to the doctor about it but she just said that it was normal and that every woman gets it and didnt do anything about it. i am thinking about laser hair removal but it is so expensive. any other options? i have really blonde hair so its not as noticible as dark hair but it still bothers me

I have some friends that have quite hairy faces and I darent tell them because basically really they should know, I can spot even the tiniest hair. Maybe its something to do with hormones and a pill treatment might help it. Go see the doc. xx
If your doctor said it's normal, then you may be talking about the very fine "baby" hair everyone has? I do, but I'm blonde so it doesn't show at all. Now if you've been using depilatory cream on it I would think the hair will have now grown stronger and more noticeable. If you want rid of it, you might have to go down the laser removal route....
Hi, hollie! I know that excessive hair can be a symptom of PCOS, but I would assume if your doctor has seen you, she hasn't classed it as "excessive"". Check this link out, anyway. It might be of help. :)

i am also quite over weight.....iv been on a diet so many times....the most i have lost is about 1 1/2 stone. i just seem to get to a point and i just cannot carry on with it. my brother is getting married in 20 months and i want to lose weight for that. but it scares me to think that i might lose a bit of weight and fall off the wagon yet again
I agree with whiskwysheri. Excess weight and the symptoms you describe could well be a sign of PCOS. This can be treated if you're found to have it, but apart from that, have you tried a facial bleaching cream? Laser treatment is the only permanent way to get rid of hairs, but if the problem's blighting your life, it might be possible to get it done on the NHS. The private treatment IS expensive, and you may need several treatments before you reach a desired result, but you may consider the money well spent. good luck.

Hair on women’s face looks quiet weird, nobody likes it! When it comes to remove hair we all put lot more efforts to remover it like, tweezing, waxing and other hair removal technique. If you are thinking to go for laser hair removal treatment then let me tell you clearly that it can make dark patches to your skin. So you must try something natural and soft hair removal technique that removes your face hair with complete care of your skin. For this you must try Skinception StopGrow Hair Inhibitor lotion; this is a scientifically proven natural hair inhibitor lotion for both men and women. It removes hairs from its roots not only from your body surface. This cream is very gently as compared to other hair removal method like hot waxing or depilatory creams and can be used on the most sensitive skin.
