why easter
18 Answers
why do people feel the need to travel the country at easter when the roads are jammed the weather is diabolical and everything is 50 times more expensive, why not book a couple days off work any other time and go then? and what is the point of dragging a huge chemical toilet ( caravan) around with you only to park it in a field and do nothing then drive home?

I only need dinner for tonight and I think possibly for Sunday too.
By the way... I don't have an easter egg either at the moment... hint, hint!

I can understand it completely bob, before we moved to the countryside we lived in Central london, hadn't seen anywhere clean and fresh since the previous years holiday, so as soon as the first bank holiday appears we all cleared off out of london to the nearest beach or country pub, and it really did make you feel so much better. the crap bit was going back on the monday, so we always took that off and went home tuesday.
I can understand why people want to get away, with the kids being off and an extra two days. But I am completely with China on the supermarket thing. I went to Morrisons this morning, it was DREADFUL. I know a lot of people have family coming on Sunday, but most were buying enough to feed a small Russian state for a week.
