Does anyone know what happened to the Brazilian Priest who attached himself to a 1000 helium balloons for charity.
He was hoping to float inland but it was thought he was blown out to sea.
Theres been nothing about him since in the media.

The man was an experienced parachutist, had a parachute, wore protective clothing and had successfully performed a similar feat before. So no more stupid or idiotic than many a record-breaker.
Ballloons are, as far as I know, completely bio-degradable and the helium they were filled with had been extracted from the atmosphere, to which it was returned when the balloons burst - so I'm not sure where the pollution comes in.
I'm just sorry the poor guy appears to have died.
