not sure which topic to post this under - any advice gratefully received - but i have a few collectables to sell, like a Beatles china plate, and would like to know how to find a valuation for it. no luck on ebay. thanks for any help
Have a look in one of the books that are available on 'collectables'. Try the library of a good book shop. There are specialist dealers who advertise inside. Most can be emailed or 'phoned for valuations & sales. I have been very disappointed when trying to sell collectables at local auctuon houses as they are often dismissed as worthless. It is only worth targetting a specialist collectors sale.
i think there is a beatles collectors fair on in liverpool today at the st georges hall .something on radio yesterday about getting your items check out by a valuer free.
