Software deal direct

Does anybody know if "software deals direct" is still in business, I have an order with them and can't get their website

It would appear that their website has been taken down - maybe they have been closed due to offering pirated software. There have been previous questions on here about similar companies.

How did you pay ? If it was by credit card you may be able to claim back from the credit card company. If you paid by cheque or debit card then you have probably lost your money.

I have the same problem, but unfortunately no more information. Their website still appears on Google but connection still fails.

I paid by credit card but it was only �66ish. I think I will just have to write the money off, and remind myself next time that if something looks too good to be true, then it probably is!!. I just wanted too get office 2007 cheap. ah well time to start saving.

I called my credit card company. They are sending me a form, then will investigate and try to recover my money. Worth a try.

It took almost two months to get to me but it did (Office2007pro). It was genuine too. I'd say hang on for a while before getting in touch with your credit card company.
