Buy 2 for 5.00 - or pay too much.
3 Answers
I dislike supermarket tactics where so many items display prominent price signs saying 'Buy 2' or 'Buy any three' for x number of pounds. Paying less for buying quantity is not unusual in business, but I don't like being psychologically pushed to buy more than I need. Raspberry packs for example - 'Buy 2 for 5.00' (or you'll pay 2.99 if you only buy one). The difference in pricing is often too big to be fair if one doesn't need more than one such item. Labels should display prices the other way round, x pounds EACH to start with then the offer price for larger quantities. What do other ABERs think and do in this situation?
