Bought a ready to mix catalan creme from aldis, think it was �1.29 that is for 9 to 12 servings, they provide the creme powder and the brown sugar topping, you provide milk and double cream, have to say fantastic, sooooooooo moreish and no oven cooking, well done aldis for the price and the standard of the product1

jogger alot of people have a go at the lower end of the supermarkets, i have to say i am so impressed with so much of there products, enjoy if you buy this i know you will love it!

I gotta say that the end results are almost identical to creme caramel! I stocked up with a dozen boxes for future use. Aldi and Lidl come up with some great stuff and are always worth a look.
Guess where I am going tomorrow.

I have Aldi's near me and just lately, been spending more time in there than Tesco!!!!!
For Creme Caramel read CREME BRULEE - It was late and I'd have a drink, I'm very very sorry but the fact of the matter is that it is damned good!
I bought wheelbarrows of the stuff. It's sadly all gone from my small Aldi now but may reappear next year. I made some yesterday. It turns out just like creme brulee without all the effort. Yum

Is like caramel custard, very popular in the catalonia region of spain,delicious!
Oh OK, I had it in my head it might be like angel delight or something.

Caramel custard suonds lovely, I think I might have to nip to Aldi this evening! :)
