nieces birthday ideas?

It will be my nieces' 5th birthday soon and I wondered if any one had any ideas for what I can do? I don't mean for parties, but as a present, like, last year I sent a birthday card to CBEEBIES and it was on the telly, which really made her day, (& mine!) I'd like to do something different and something that won't cost much and something fun and memorable for her. I hope someone has some ideas. - Please!!

First horseriding lesson? My friend has just done this for her 6 year old grandaughter. Very successful.

How about buying a few small gifts and hiding them, in turn, give her clues to find them so it turns into a treasure hunt, the gifts dont have to be big, eg: sweets, small teddy etc. She will have loads of fun tearing round the house looking for her next clue!
