another (completely unrelated) ebay question from me!
3 Answers
i have been bidding on an item over the last couple of days, and when the bidding reached my limit (50 inc postage) a couple of days ago, i stopped. this morning i've received a 'second chance' offer, which basically means the highest bidder for whatever reason can't complete the transaction, or the seller had another identical item to sell (he wasn't advertising this), so do i want to purchase the item at the buy it now price he's suggesting? - it's only a couple of pound over what i offered.
anyone else think i was possibly bidding against the seller (under another id) in the first place? it looks too suss to me, he can whistle for it now!! perhaps i'm just paranoid :P

Do you want the item?? If so, I'd go ahead.
If your not too bothered, Leave it, you probably are being pushed to pay more. x

both helpful answers, thank you :)
i've done a bit of research and i've messaged the guy asking him for the style number that apparently only authentic products have (he's claiming they're real), which i can then verify with the brand (oo swish), otherwise...i ain't paying 50 for a fake!! i just thought it was a bit suspect but Bathsheba you're right, i had originally bid the amount he's now offering them to me for previously! *oops*
thanks helpmepls and Bathsheba xx
