Help wanted

right i cannot go into much detail, but.
I know a young women who is going to college and through no fault of her own has found she is struggling to pay for everything.
Her accommodation is paid for through a bursary, but this does not stretch to equipment.
Does anyone here know how she can get financial help?

Get an eve/weekend job... what I and all my mates did when we were at college...

but this money is needed ASAP she starts the course next week and she can no longer access the stuff she had bought for her.
Its a horse course so you can see its expensive.

Join the military and get a scholarship. Plus full time pay during the holidays.

A student loan sounds like a good idea to me.

I will suggest the student loan,but we need to try and have it in place before next week so she can at least get some of the equipment she needs. Off to research on that...

She has to have money to access the
kit that she has to have to start the course ...
if things are that bad may be she would do
better waiting for a later course ..and save up
to do it ..i'm sure she will be able to reapply
for the bursary ...I wish her good luck ..
if she is a fighter she will succeed ....

Apparently prostitution amongst students is on the increaase and is quite common .
Obviously its a personal choice , but if stories are to be believed its achoice many young female students are taking.

Im not saying she should do that , but its easy work for good money and you dont need to sign your life away like the army.

Its certainly an option .
