Hey everyone, I have a skirt made from Cotton 54% Elastane 3% Polyamide 43% and is dry clean only. Will I be able to dye it black using ordinary clothes dye? Is currently a dusky pink/purple colour. IF so, would I use the dye myself or take it to get done professionally? Finally does anyone know where I could buy dye, or get my skirt dyed, in Ipswich? Thanks very much for any help

I did just that last week, My skirt was a maxi sort of air-force blue. Cotton + other fibre's.
I bought a 'Dylon Dye' BLACK (from their web-site) Google it. Turned out perfect & I wore it to a wedding Black & cream was my theme.
Being as one can dye 2lb with 1 dye pkt I threw in a coule of T-shirts too, - perfect!
Give it a go. Dont forget the salt to seal it. Good Luck.
