New ipod nano-chromatic?

my ipod nano 1st gen finally broke, and i just got paid! so I'm thinking of buying one of the new ipod nano chromatics, but i want to make sure there worth buying first. they look cool but you never know with ipods. I cant find much good reviews. most just coment on how cool the colours are. Does anyone have any experience with them? know anything about their durability, reliability or general value? if so i would love to hear what you have to say.

Yea, they're the best nanos yet.

Far more durable than your first gen (won't scratch anywhere as easily), stores more, nicer screen, better features.

Probably the best 'standard' (i.e., non-touch) iPod yet.
