oral b vitality toothbrush not working

i know this might be stupid but i got one of the oral b rechargable toothbrushes and it does not seem to be recharging could i be doing something wrong many thanks

well, not sure if this is going to help you but we had this problem when we moved to our present home. There is a shaver point in the bathroom where we plug the toothbrush into (same as you, I guess?).Anyway, my husband had a thought (doesn't happen very often!) and maybe this might be the answer to your problem. We have a little strip light above the basin and he put this little light on using the pull cord and then took out the strip bulb. We then plugged the toothbrush into the shaver socket and hey presto, it charged and has done so ever since. We now can't use the little strip light but that is no problem for us. Give it a go, must be something to do with the wiring but maybe it will work for you too. hope this helps.
