Lakitu, what a great idea. I'd not seen that before.

If you are really stuck for ideas Toby you could always donate cash to add to her savings fund that the Govt give to parents of new babies. Though not very imaginative it would come in uesful later, particularly if there is a lot of family buying for the baby now.

I came across the site when I was looking for something special to give to my Nephew. I haven't got it yet, but I will. I thought it was a lovely idea.

i have a cabinet full of christening silver ware when my kids were baptised and they are a right pain in the ass cleaning them. when my friends little girl was christend we brought her a small gold locket something she can wear when she gets older.
