I went to MFI about 3 weeks ago and purchased some display stock that was reduced. The staff member wrote out a manual slip with my debit card number and expiry date on it along with my name and address as I had to go back the next day with a van to collect. He kept a copy of the slip and gave me the original. I went back the next day to collect the items, another staff member just looked at my slip and said thats ok just take the furniture, which I had agreed to pay �200 for. They did not process any payment in store whilst I was there.

A week later MFI had taken just �14 from my account.

I just wondered if they are allowed to take anymore if they realise they have made a mistake and how long they have to take more money?
