Monster Munch

Just had some roast beef Monster Munch.

Not had them in years!

I have noticed though that they have changed the packing back to how it was when I was younger ie yellow pack and actually have the monsters back on them. The pack also claimed they are bigger like they used to be but I wouldn't be able to tell! They were as good as I remember them being though.

Has anyone else eaten/had something recently that they've not had in years? Was it as good as you remembered?

i LOVE roast beef monster munch !! i love that they've gone 'back' to how they used to be too...best. flavour. ever :)

i seem to remember quavers with a cartoon dog with a big chin in a suit and jazz music and for some reason, i'm only ever reminded of it when eating prawn cocktail flavour, not the original cheese. did prawn cocktail maybe used to be the 'original' flavour?

i had green and blacks chocolate recently which reminded me of my childhood for some reason. I'm of Belgian decent so perhaps we just had a lot of good quality chocolate about the house back then!!

Now you mention it I think prawn cocktail were the original flavour of Quavers. I wonder if anyone can actually confirm that?? Perhaps I'll google it! lol

The only Monster Munch I can stomach are the pickled onion flavour,,, but then, as a posh bird, I have discerning tastes ;-)

definitely something about the prawn cocktailyness of the quavers is familiar! skips have always been as they are...urgh i used to eat them in fear for the minging shrivelled hard one! haha! still to this day it's a skip lottery! :D

I remember having prawn cocktail flavour quavers don't know about them being the original flavour

I have to go and brush my teeth straight afterwards to get rid of the bits... but then that spoils the taste of the cheese.

(please do not take that as meaning anything other than what it means... I am not being smutty on this occasion, - I am talking about savoury snacks.)
