Cinnamon sticks

A friend has given me room freshener, candle and cinnamon sticks. What do you do with cinnamon sticks?

The cinnamon sticks will be for pot pourri, or country type baskets with pine cones, orange slices etc not the cooking version. Well that's what I get from the other gifts she has given you :)
