Loewe is a transliteration from the German word for a lion i.e." Lowe" whereby the letter "o" would have 2 dots above it when written in the germanic idiom.
It's difficult to describe the correct pronunciation on paper, however, so the most literal way would be if you imagine the English word "over" without the "r" on the end, then add the "l" onto the "ove" and you'd more or less have the correct pronunciation.

There's strictly correct pronounciation, and there's common pronounciation. Folk in Glasgow would refer to Loewe's department store (now gone) as ''Low's''.

Of course he was American, and your Loewe is a Spanish company and may pronounce it differently?
