Are designer shoes,Christian Louboutins etc any more comfortable than your High St purchases! Do they solve a bunion problem! I bought 2 pair shoes for �10 originally costing �45 fashionable and comfy! Have you any designer shoes! were the worth the money are just bought for label!!

The comfort of the shoe depends not just on the materials used, but on the style, 4 inch stilettos are not designed to be comfortable, if they feel comfortable it is a bonus, that is not the first criteria.
Nothing solves a bunion problem except an operation to remove it.
What you do get with designer shoes is more attention to the inner of the shoe, budget brands have to mass produce and put all the effort into the visual impact of the shoe. the more expensive brands use better quality linings and soles to give the shoe value.
i always say buy the best you can afford in the sales and you will get a good quality bargain.

oh and yes I have a few designer shoes, I actually get 4 free pairs a year as uniform and they last and last.

I only ever buy shoes I like or are striking. I do have a couple of designer pairs but they were bought in sales and at least one pair I didn't actually know were a well known label.

Apart from my hiking boots and all terrain sandals, all my shoes/boots have 4" heels.

I have spent a king's ransom on designer shoes over the years. My fave pair ever were a pair of gucci peep-toe stilettos with diamante bar across the front, in royal green satin. Designer shoes are worth the extra money, because they are made to last. Moreover, the cheapest are always the dearest! I don't give a monkeys about wearing last season's shoes as I'm not going to spend all that money and only wear them half a dozen times.
