Ebay item - goods not received, lost in post.
9 Answers
An item I purchased via Ebay has not reached me (I paid via paypal). I am in contact with the seller by email who says they will put in a claim form with the P.O. (after 15 days from receipt of posting) to get a refund, stating that the P.O. could take some time in sending the refund, soon as they get it they will refund me. (They are also emailing me via my private email address). Where do I stand with this? When should Ebay get involved in this (if at all). I dont want to leave it for weeks then find out I cannot claim my money back as it is to late.

Well, I would want all of my money back including the p&p element that I paid. That's what a "good" seller should refund, and if they don't then that is a good reason to use the paypal dispute/claim procedure.
I don't think there can be any justification for a buyer being out of pocket if the item they purchased is not received.
