Hi, I'm 15 years old and I want to grow my hair long enough to reach my shoulders or at least end right above it. When I was a toddler I had long hair with some curls. I tried to re-grow my hair this past summer but since my hair is thicker now than it was then it just reached the hairline on my neck and curls inward, in other wards it would be a bad afro. I have heard you must get you hair blown out constantly to get it straight down. And when I went back to school my friends who had hair the same legnth as me grew their hair longer and it did not curl up. How can I get my hair to just grow straight downward? please help!!!
