Does anyone know what the best deals are on offer? I've heard Seat are offering 4000 on certain models

with the scrappage allowance plus dealer discount I got 4000 of a fiesta zetec

Interesting, i thought i might have to go for models I don;t know much about . So did you have to drive a bargain or wasit fairly straightforward?

no it was straightforward, I was going to buy one just a couple of years old but when told of the dealer discount on top of the scrappage I jumped at it, dealer discount was 1800 and I haggled for the extra 200 I think they are keen to get rid of the pricier cars, dealer told me that most people are going for cheaper ones. Logic I suppose as not many people with 10 year old cars can afford a new one in a higher bracket till told of the dealer discount. Shop around and see what you can find, GOOD LUCK
