How do you make your humus?
Hi
I was watching COme Dine With Me the other night and the girl made humus but she boiled the chickpeas and onions and other ingredients,
I normally put them all in a bowl, blend and eat, I use
Chickpeas
Garlic
Olive Oil
Lemon
Pepper
Paprika

there's no need to boil tinned chickpeas for houmous! surprised she did that...! houmous is so easy - loads of recipes to try here http://allrecipes.co.uk/recipes/searchresults.aspx?tag=houmous
Hi, I use the same method/ingredients as you but also add tahini to get the consistency I like. I used to go to a small restaurant that always made it there and then and it was served warm, so I guess they used a boiled method also. Served with hot strips of brown pitta bread - it was truly scrumptious! Gone now though. My mouth is watering at the memory!
I tried a recipe last week that used Greek yoghurt and it really wasn't good - it made the garlic taste harsh.
