There is supposed to be a credit crunch and pay rises are non-existent or very low, yet each week my supermarket shop seems to cost more.
I was emailed by Tesco today to tell me I could book my Xmas delivery and have now spent the princely sum of £184.10. Bearing in mind I live by myself do you think this is rather excessive?
Do you think I should go back and cut down on the cigarettes, alcohol, and finest foods, or just delete the dog's treat?
Ankou we don't have a Lidl although I understand they have just bought the disused swimming baths a couple of streets away.........vibra said they were crap.
Good God...£184 quid? And you live on your own? How long will that last you?
I've no idea what you're buying for that amount (Obviously!) but that amount of money would but me a good couple of months food, and that would be for 3 of us and a dog.
Harmless- whoever you are, your name is too long and makes the page go screwy! You seriously couldn't get a few months shoping out of £184? I feed a family of 3 for less, believe me i have to! I tend to basic ingredients...mince, whole chickens etc and can make several meals out of one item. For example a chicken will make a roast, sandwiches for the day after and then a soup in the slow cooker. A cheap bag of mince for a couple of quid will also make a couple of meals too.
