I have put 15 different things on Freecycle today, don't you get some rude people? One person just replied :
'Can you drop this off for me?' without even asking politely if they could have the item!!!!

what freecycle? It's an International system for re-cycling unwanted stuff within your home community. Very clever and really popular.

I tend to use it to get rid of stuff as there is always someone who will pick it up and take it off your hands.

I just Googled "kijiji", and it appears that you don't have it in the UK.............It's an excellent site.

if you want to get rid of stuff just hire a skip and everything you put in it will disappear overnight.....the next night it is replaced by things you may want.....

I thought I didn't recognise that name stewey. I know they have Freecycle in the USA cos it was estie that introduced me to it about 5 years ago as she used it when she moved to her condo

I agree Dot, some people can be very rude. Otherwise it is great, I have mainly used it when clearing out but have got the odd thing from there as well. What really annoys me sometimes are some of the wanted ads - for example: "I am a desperate single parent in need of a 42 inch flat screen telly and a brown leather corner suite" !!!!
If they were that desperate, then surely they would be after something to sit on regardless of how it looks.
